Description: Daycare new heaven learning center 16246 sagebrush rd 33618 i still don't understand why this daycare was allowed to open up in our neighborhood. we had a petition with 26 signatures of north lakes residents opposing it and went to the county commissioners meeting with it when they still approved the daycare. this has been a nightmare for 6 years. i live two doors down and most of my windows face their playground. the noise is unbearable at time. the owner, cruz hernandez has them outside about three hours a day. of course she stays out of the hot sun and has her workers out there with them. the screeching screaming and a lot of crying is making me sick. they are out of control. the noise wakes me up every morning and i can't even take a nap in the afternoon because she send them outside again from 3:45 until they go home. i can't get any work done when they are out there and have lost money every year since they moved in. i have a part-time job and my office faces the playground. i cannot concentrate or even talk on the phone. i can't go on my patio because i can't hear anything but screaming. they scare my animals on the patio and they are scratching at the glass door to get in. they even scare the birds and they start screeching and fly away. i though when i retired after working 30 years i could enjoy my home and my yard but it is impossible all because of the decisions you made. i have trouble sleeping and have health problems because of it. ms hernandez does not live there. she lives at 12844 big sur dr. 33625. she trashes this neighborhood and then goes home to her quiet neighborhood. every neighbor i talk to does not know this business was allowed in the neighborhood. because we are an older neighborhood and don't have an active association? what discrimination. i'm sure none of you or the commissioners have a day care in your neighborhood. this is a nightmare! our deed restrictions say no home can be used for a business. what happened to that? i guess you are using the poorer neighborhoods for some kind of agenda.
