Description: The yard is over grown and we have armadillo's and raccoons and who knows what else coming into our yard from the over growth, also the pool has not been cleaned in at least 6 months. i have a dog and two cats that i have to worry about animals coming into my yard and hurting them and i'm sure the pool is like a big breeding ground for mosquitos. this property is a breeding ground for all kinds of wild animals and i'm even scared for my kids to go out in our backyard because of what kind of animals they might be confronted with. i can get pictures later if need be but if we could have someone come by just to check it out would be a start.

Description: Description of complaint: i would like to report a noise complaint on my neighbor who is running a glass business from his home. his business website is: http://glassrepairflorida.com/ runs very loud power equipment at all hours. i can hear glass breaking at all hours of the day as well. when asked to stop his gets angry and verbally abusive! his workers cus at each other at all hours of the day which i can hear sitting in my home. large trucks come and go from his home several times a day treating it like a retail parking lot. the noise is all day everyday! also he burns trash in his back yard. called the fire department on him for burning plastic smoke in our yards last memorial day. he did stop over the summer but he has since began to burn again. he always burns on major holidays where i can't even invite family or friends over anymore, let alone enjoy being in my own backyard. we've been putting up with this for almost a year now. my neighbors next to me have reported him for code violations before. i have a 2 month old baby now and i'm just about tired of her waking up to the large noises this guy makes constantly. i have no peace living in my own home anymore. not to mention he's bringing down our property value because no one in their right minds will by a home remotely close to this guy. i would really like the noise to end! i would really appreciate someone removing his business from a residential area! submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. cass womack

Description: Description of complaint: to whom it may concern: i contacted your department on 12/5 regarding concerns about the water supply in my apartment. we experience burning of the eyes and nostrils after taking showers in excess of 10/15 minutes - burning, watery eyes, sneezing and coughing fits for several minutes after showering. also there is now significant rusting of shower curtain rings. i do not know whether or not anyone else is experiencing this problem. we first noticed it for certain in august (we moved in at the end of june), but ignored it or thought it would go away. as the problem is now more evident, i notified the apartment complex on 12/3, and was told to contact the county. i received a call on 12/6 (trina?) in response to my message sent via this complaint forum. i was then referred to brian (water quality). brian informed me that i should contact the apartment complex because it was not an issue for the county. i went back to the apartment complex and they insisted it has to be a county matter, and that they would call to try to resolve the problem. on monday, december 16, after not hearing back from the retreat, i checked with the office for an update, but was told they have not been able to get in contact with the county office (numbers keep ringing). i would really appreciate it if someone could contact the apartment complex so this matter can be addressed. i have primarily spoken with jillian at the retreat. the contact number for the retreat is (813) 626-2365. thank you. submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. nicola kelly 813-731-9620 email address: [email protected]

Description: Description of complaint: our neighbor is running some type of mechanics business out of his garage. from what i understand his brother-in-law works for bond auto and he is bringing cars to the garage to work on continuously. there are always 8-10 cars coming and going and they sometimes leave the house speeding. there is also some type of day care center as there are always many children outside playing and than we see the parents come to pick them up. everyone in this neighborhood is very supportive of each other and have lived on the street for many years. we have all tried to talk to him and he follows through for a short time and right back to all the cars. don't know how many people live in this house but there is always a lot of people coming and going. we would like to see this stopped. we don't care if he works on his own vehicles but we don't even know which ones belong to them. also when someone talks and complains to him the speeding increases!! submitter's contact preference: i wish to remain anonymous.
