Description: Description of complaint: i moved to this community on 4/19/2014 and after countless follow up with management for maintenance and threat to report it to code enforment maintenance finally came 5/23/14. but maintenance was partially done. other items listed were performed by me...... many times management excuse is they are busy and they are working on other requests or emergencies.....but well mine gets pushed back.......i am frustrated becasue it appears they make excuses and they think they can get away with midiocre maintenance.....i have heard many complains from neighbors. items outstanding from my lists at unit 102a, building #1 (8408 oakwood tree ct): 1. missing unit number on front door.....and paint black..... brighthouse personnel had difficulties last week locating me. so i figure emergency personnel would too. i believe having an unidentified apartment number is a violation. 2. my bedroom windows does not lock and many units have broken screens. they provided some pin locks in lieu or repairing or replacing. they say that is what they do, no in complex window lock. this is an unacceptable excuse. my window lacks screens. 3. grounds and roofs near large trees are full of debri and apparent in lack of maintenance. 4. entrance to some units, mine at 8408 oakwood tree ct 102a is non ada compliant. 5. during heavy rain, hail and windy days, water pretrude into my foyer. 6. kitchen cabinets lacked knobs. i installed, they refused to reimburse. 7. unconventional set up for dryer connections. 8. patio door lacks sliding screen door. 9. debri is always falling on my balcony, patio and attrium furniture. this is due to lack of maintenance, i.e, preassure washing to unit above. the first attempt was done incomplete and efficiently. 10. tub lacked a lock drain mechanism for bathing. to document, lake azzure lake apartments promotes benefit of a gym, but equiment is unsafe and non-operable. submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. edda hopkins 813-731-2385 email address: [email protected]
