Description: Description of complaint: on saturday august 3rd, 2013 i reported to the property manager the issue within my apartment. the fallen, moldy ceiling in the utility closet, the leaking ceiling in the bathroom and the termites. because i needed time to find a place to stay they could not start on the work until tuesday august 6th, 2013. i am allergic to large amounts of dust, asbestos, and i work nights so being in the apartment would have been a major inconvenience to my health and income. i left the apartment to rent a room at the house of an aquaintance, which i informed the property manager about. i did not return to the apartment until saturday, august 10th, 2013. upon my arrival everything seemed fixed but the fixed items began leaking again (the ceilings in the closet and bathroom) and there were roaches. since they assumed the problem was upstairs i did not have to leave the apartment again for them to fix the issue. it is now august 22nd, 2013 and i am still feeling ill from what i believe is mold in the utility room and the fan in the bathroom is now leaking. they fixed the exterior problem but i do not believe the issue within the ceiling is fixed and all the water damage in the utility closet can lead to mold which may be what is making me ill. supporting file or photo: apartment0.zip submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. jessica dennis 3479442159 email address: [email protected]
