Description: Description of complaint: for the past four or more years we have been putting up with our next door neighbor parking his company dump trucks, flat bed wrecker trucks and sign trucks on the side yard next to our property along with various other obnoxious behavior. we filed a complaint around april or may 2010 and a case number ce10005660 was assigned. for two years the case drug on with no real resolution and finally a judge issued a fine the result of which we are not aware. things got better for a short while six months ago but the truck activity has started again. we wish to restate our complaint and ask that the zoning laws be enforced to stop the continued degradation of our neighborhood. as taxpayers it is not fair that we have to put up with the commercial trucks being parked on the adjacent property when there are zoning laws in place to stop the behavior. we are attaching photos showing the flatbed wrecker truck and a truck with a huge sign illegally parked both in the yard and on the street over the past two weeks. the sign truck was left in the street on the night of october 11th for the entire weekend from friday night to monday morning. the parking activity usually occurs from late at night to the following morning and is occurring on a nightly basis and all weekend. your help is appreciated. thank you. bruce smith supporting file or photo: zoning complaint.wps submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. bruce smith 813 949 2353

Description: Description of complaint: hello. i am the owner of 2828 sherry brook lane, lutz, fl 33559 which is currently a vacant parcel that we are getting ready to build a home on. about two weeks ago, my husband and i were on the lot measuring when a female resident of the nueva vida assisted living facility came out from the facility's garage, came down an embankment, crossed the road, and came onto my property. as this female was making her way toward us, a female aide from the facility realized that the woman was headed our way and walked briskly toward the woman yelling for her to "come back" and "stop." the resident did not stop, nor did she slow down. when the resident and aide got to our property, the aide tried to appropriately restrain her by appropriately grabbing her shoulders and distracting her in an attempt to bring her back to the facility. the resident began beating the aide about the upper arms and yelling at her. after just a few minutes, both the resident and the aide were safely back at the facility. while i am not trained in nursing, nor do i have any particular knowledge of how to properly handle such residents who may or may not ever again approach me/my family or enter upon my property, i have to admit it was a bit of a frightening scene. we weren't sure if the resident was going to strike us or just talk to us, but it was a little too close for comfort. luckily, there was no contact or any communication; however, i am concerned that the residents at this facility are free to roam about. perhaps a gate or fencing is in order. further, oftentimes, the residents are seen sitting in the garage amidst random furniture, etc. - it has to be extremely warm in the garage, perhaps too warm for such elderly/sickly residents. additionally, there seems to be a vehicle parked on the grass in front of the facility instead of on the driveway. is this okay? one more thing - and extremely important - i recently was told that there is one (or two) registered sex offenders in this facility. is this true? i need to know as i have two sons (18 and 22) who need to be made aware of this. while i understand that such facilities are a necessity, i can only hope and pray that this particular facility - located so close to my property and future residence - is in total compliance and has proper licensure. obviously, i wish this facility did not open near my property and have fingers crossed that one day it will disappear just as quickly as it suddenly appeared. please call if you have any questions. i do appreciate hearing back from you with answers to my questions contained in this email. thank you. barbara yudman submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. barbara yudman 813-416-5319 email address: [email protected]

Description: Description of complaint: unfortunately, we have witnessed several construction and land improvements were both unlicensed contracting construction work at my neighbor's home at 17343 linda vista circle lutz, fl. my neighbor has repeatedly been seen pumping water out of his yard which causes my yard to flood. as seen in the pictures. he has also brought tractor trailer truck of dirt in to fill a wetland in his back yard. he is using a young man with no license to do this work with a wheel barrel and board over a ditch to get it on his property. the trailer is parked on another's neighbor's property and county property. he is no authorized to fill nor pump water out of his property. i have attached the pictures and feel this is in violation to county code. it damages wetland and is now making a stream going from my front yard to back yard that was never there. the water he is pumping out you can see the water in the picture and can see the pipes in his ditch, it flows to my front yard, then flows throughout my property to the back of my property. i am very upset about his actions as this has changed my property since i built it in december 2013 substantially. i require a full investigation as he is pumping water day and night. if you can come early morning or late afternoon you can witness the pumping. if you come out to the property now, the truck is parked there that has the fill dirt he is using to fill his wetland in his backyard. i request a follow up with the action you took to correct this behavior. also, i require a review of the impacts to my property from the elevations we built, if you can send someone out we would appreciate it. please feel free to contact me at 813-395-3109. supporting file or photo: compliant.zip submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. dawn fallon 813-395-3109 email address: [email protected]
