Description: Description of complaint: i have lived in this subdivision since 2003. the owner of 710 periwinkle pointe place moved to riverview and has rented 710 periwinkle for several years, mostly to professional looking people. in recent times however, the property has been rented to ms airial jackson who has several small children. this year, my home became inundated with german roaches. i suspected that the unkempt yard at 710 was the breeding ground, where trash lay in abundance. i hired florida pest control to determine the source of the infestation and they emphatically determined that it was in fact the yard of 710 periwinkle. the professional representative of the pest control company said that it was highly probable that the interior of the house was also infested. two visits from the pest control company to my home in the last two months have not eradicated the problem yet, and i don't think it will be until the actual owner, not the renter, is cited by code enforcement, if code enforcement determine through inspection, that this infestation exists at 710 periwinkle. i called public health first, because the renter, ms jackson, is currently out on bail on felony child neglect charges, and her children were taken away. deputies at the time of the arrest were shocked by what they saw inside, never mind my concerns about the rear yard. however, sooner or later i assume ms. jackson will regain control of her children, and i thought that alone would be a health hazard, but the heath department directed me to code enforcement. so in a nutshell, i'm asking that the property at 710 periwinkle pointe place be inspected at least in the rear yard for german roach infestation. the actual owner is mr. olayinka alege, and his address is 11422 dutch iris dr, riverview 33578. if you want to contact him at work, he is the principal of greco middle school in temple terrace. their # is 8139876926. my immediate problem, is that i'm going to be away from my home for a while, starting next tuesday july 29th, and am dreading what might be awaiting me when i come back, if the yard at 710 periwinkle is not treated for roach infestation. i know you are probably very busy, but i would be grateful if you could address this issue as soon as you can. submitter's contact preference: i wish to remain anonymous.
