Description: Sr8749 5/22/2015 11:43 am i am a tenant at the address listed above. the home is infested with black mold in the walls and mole spores growing in the carpeting. additionally, the home is taking on water from an unsourced location. on may 13, 2015, i discovered the carpeting in the bedroom to be moist, as i walked toward the rear of the room i discovered water standing on-top of the carpet and black mold around the walls. i immediately contacted the mgmt co. & expected someone to come out immediately. on may 14, 2015, i received a call from a lady stating they were coming out to do an estimate for gutters. i said, "who is taking care of the water in the home"? confused, the lady said, she would call the mgmt. co. i too call the mgmt. co. & they stated someone from a restoration co. would call me shortly. later that afternoon i received a call from the 911 restoration, stating they would be out later that day. when the tech from 911 arrived he assessed the situation & said, i have to get approval from the mgmt. co. to before starting any work, due to the fact there is a lot going on here. on may 15, 2015 the tech from 911 called to say he still had not received approval, he stated the person that has to give approval was not at work. i immediately called the tampa office for colony american homes. their response was less than acceptable. i spoke with dana, i advised her that there was water and mold was in the property and i needed immediate help. dana said, "you must contact the mgmt. co.". i said, "i did and they are supposedly waiting on approval". dana said, "there is nothing we can do for you, you must contact the mgmt. co.". i once again called the mgmt. co. & restated the problem advising of water and mold and the mgmt. co. said, a plumber would be out. a rep. from the plumbing co. called and said, "they would be out on may 16, 2015" and i said, "but i need immediate assistance". on may 16, 2015, the plumber came out and after 3 hrs. didn't find the leak. regarding contact sherri lockett-strong first name sherri last name lockett-strong phone number 313-220-2759 mobile number -- email address [email protected]
