Description: Description of complaint: i own the property at 11207 fern hill drive, riverview, fl 33578. next door to my property at 11009 fern hill drive, there is a home that has been abandoned for about one year. the house has rodents living in the property. there are broken windows and exterior access points for people and/or animals to enter. the roof has large plants growing on it and the yard is completely over grown. this is attracting more animals to the property, which is very close to my house. in additional to the over growth, there are truckloads of trash that litter the property - including: cars, metals, styrofoam containers, toys, shoes, an above ground pool and many other miscellaneous items. this property is also on the bull frog creek bed, so this trash is and will enter the creek if not cleaned properly. i do not know if power is connected to the house, so it could be a fire risk and my house would be compromised. i have contact the owner, nationstar mortgage llc, who took ownership in february 2014, and contacted their attorney multiple times. they do not return my calls or address my concerns. i have only been told it will go to auction sometime in the future, but not definite date. this is simply not acceptable, with the threat it puts to my property. in addition to the dilapidated condition of the property, there is only access to the property from my property. i have animals fenced in my property, so using my driveway to get to the next door neighbor's property is no longer an option, as i fear one of my animals could be injured or a visitor could be compromised. the folio number is: 0771670000 what are my options in this situation? the owner needs to take action by cleaning the property or selling it to someone who will! i have included some pictures that show the scattered trash, broken windows and over growth on the property. supporting file or photo: attachments 201526.zip submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. your phone number: 813-323-4549 your email address: [email protected]
