Description: Description of complaint: my neighbors at the address provided have a swimming pool and spa that are not used or cleaned. some of the screens surrounding the pool are broken, and so are parts of the privacy fence that surround the entire backyard. this allows for mosquitos and frogs to breed, not to mention the amount of bacteria everyone is exposed to. they have an enormous infestation of (what appear to be) fruit rats (or some kind of rat) that are visible and audible to all surrounding houses. these rats also end up in the neighbor's yards in places where it is obvious that the rats were tossed over the fence. small children and dogs live in the houses on either side of this house and could come in contact with the deceased rats. i would also ask that the county inspect the interior of the home as well and consider calling dfs, as these are not sanitary conditions to raise children in (and they have 11 in the home, including 3 in diapers and 4 adults; i was not aware that so many people could live in one house). they also leave their windows open 24/7 with no screens, which is a safety hazard for the children and also allows love bugs, wasps, lizards, rats, etc. in the home. the children are allowed to run rampant throughout the neighborhood with little to no supervision (including the ones in diapers, who are often outside in only a (dirty) diaper with no adult around). they also do not regularly attend school and always look filthy and malnourished. please also consider calling animal control, as they have 2 dogs, a pit bull and a yorkie, that also live in these conditions. to the best of my knowledge, these dogs are kept separated, as they will fight, with the pit spending most of its time either in a cage in the backyard (because their fence is broken, it will get out in the neighborhood and it will bite) or in the garage. neither appear to be taken care of, they are also filthy and malnourished (much less have their regular booster shots and flea/heartworm treatments). i have several videos of the rats. i also have evidential support from our hoa security, that can verify the complaints about the children and the condition of the home and i'm sure animal control will have a record of the calls they've had regarding the dogs. our hoa is doing nothing about this house so i am asking for the county's help. i would recommend an inspector from the county contact the neighbors in at least a two-home radius. i am asking you to also contact animal control and dfs on behalf of the neighborhood. submitter's contact preference: i wish to remain anonymous.
