Description: Htg12-01501 to whom it may concern: please accept our apology for the way in which mr. quik has handle the completion card in dealing with permit applications. under no circumstances should a permit not be closed out after a job is completed and your recent document listing our $4,226.00 of fees does not reflect the way we handle our daya to day business operations. by way of explanation (not excuse), we've had multiple changes of personnel in who handles our permit applications, including the supervisor. obviously, we always apply for a permit when we need to preform work and our records show that we have always been prompt in paying our fines and/or fixing violations. however, with the turnover of employees in the last 6 months there was not an individual who was consistently closing out completion cards within 30 days. also, after 30 days the online option is no longer viable and fines escalated because our new people did not follow the proper steps to eliminate the mounting fees. we are diligent in our permit applications and we now have the proper personnel and procedures to finish the process from start to finish. our company is built on "doing what's right and having an inspected job through the department of code enforcement is the only way that assures the customer receives a properly installed system with mr. quik home services. thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. we've instituted a more rigorous training program to ensure that this behavior will never happen again. our continued business relationship means a great deal to us. please waive the $4,226.00 in no-completion card fees due to the miscommunication, employee turnover, and online restrictions. we look forward to future growth and revenue with the city of indianapolis/marion county and we would appreciate your understanding at this time.
