Description: Sr45431 2/17/2016 11:38 amthere are two vehicles being stored in our private neighborhood, and have been in the street since before thanksgiving (i've put in dec 1 because it is the first date my neighbor brought my attention to the vehicles). neither vehicles are being used. grass is growing about the tires. i've reported the vehicles to the sheriff's office, in case they were abandoned or stolen. the officers stated the cars were registered to someone in the neighborhood, which i thought odd since they are alabama registered plates. i've complained to our property management company about residents storing non-working vehicles in the street, and the management company said nothing could be done, because the roads are county property. however, i do not recall that the streets are proper storage areas for inoperable vehicles or "hobby" cars.one vehicle is a dark green blazer sort of small suv; there are no identifying emblems on the car. the right rear tire is, and has been for months, totally deflated; furthering the notion that the vehicles are not being driven.the other vehicle is a light taupe colored four-door sedan, perhaps a late 90's model nissan altima. it, neither, has moved.the home around the block, 7304 tangle bend drive, usually has a number of cars being worked on in the driveway, including cars with alabama plates.since our management company cannot take action, i hope that the county may have some direction we can take to remove these eyesores from our neighborhood. cars2.jpgfirst name emilylast name wrightphone number 8133265189mobile number --email address emily.mae.wright@gmail.com
