Description: Str14-00471 to whomever it may concern: my name is juan carlos alvarado, this letter is concerning a fine i received regarding the work that i had done on my home. i would like to start off by apologizing about not notifying you after the work was finished. i was not aware that i needed to notify you of that. when i went to request permission on 02/18/2014, i do not recall being told that i would have to also notify you all once the work was finished. i understood that i just needed to notify you all that i was going to have work done on my roof. english is my second language and as a result of that it could have been that it was miscommunication due to the language barrier. i do truly apologize for not informing you all about finishing the roof of my house. is there any way that the fee can be removed fine since i was not aware that i had to notify you all about this? i have spent a lot of money trying to fix up my house. we have had a lot of issues since we made the purchase of our house due to the inspection that was held when we were int he process of purchasing our home. due to the extreme cold weather that we had last year they were unable to inspect the house thoroughly; because of that i have had to pay a lot of expenses out of pocket. i spoke to claudio delgado (317-965-0513), who spoke in spanish and he was able to explain this issue to me. once again i truly apologize for the lack of understanding, i hope that you take this into consideration. thank you for your time and i apologize for the inconvenience. ***see activities
