Description: Lg&e came to install a digital meter that could be read from the road due to a fence. they discovered that the meter had a cover that was missing the latch for their security tag, and that the conductor insulation on the wire from the meter to the disconnect was melted. lg&e said they were turning off the power until this was fixed. when truitt got there it was determined that the bussing in the main diconnect had melted the plastic insulator between the two buss bars and had to be replaced. it was agreed upon that the existing panel was replaced but not inspected and there wasn't enough capacity so the plan was to upgrade to a 200 amp service disconnect and send in 150 amps to a new 150 amp main lug panel.
