Description: 12/27/2006 - i received a complaint from an unidentified tenant living at 1322 old roswell rd. stating that raw sewage was flowing out of the ground and his water heater was inoperative. i asked for the landlord's information and received his phone number. i contacted the owner mrs. giti bayhaghi and she and her husband responded to the residence. at that time i conducted an inspection and observed the raw sewage flowing out from the ground. i also observed burn marks on the water heater. i requested the bldg inspection dept. conduct an inspection of the heater. inspector j.b brooker responded to the residence and inspected the water heater. he found the water heater to be potentially hazardous due to ignition source problems. rubbish and roach infestation were also observed. a notice of violation was sent to the listed owner, mrs giti bayhaghi for the following violations: 1. cpmc 307.1; rubbish accumulation. 2. cpmc 504.4; water heater. 3. cpmc 506.2; sanitary drainage system. 1/2/2007 - upon re-inspection the property was found to be in compliance. the water heater was replaced and the sewage system was fixed.
