Description: 12-15-06 - began investigation of complaint previously made by a concerned neighborhood resident that he believed, based on his observations, an excessive number of unrelated adult males were living in a property zoned as a single family residence. 12-15-06 - observed 6 adult male individuals outside the home. 12/20/06 - observed 8 adult males leave the house, get into a vehicle, and drive to the minerva resturant parking lot. made photos. 1/3/07 - spoke to resident, mr. sridhar, 678-566-7444 of 100 park creek dr about # of people living in the home. determined that there were at least 8 adults, not related, living at the property. spoke to mr. sridhar about the restrictions on the number of un-related adults at one house in that zoning district. he is taking steps to move the workers into apartments. 1/3/07 - sent notice of violation letters to mr reddy at both addresses, new jersey and park creek. he has until sunday to bring the property into compliance. 1/5/07 - received call from mr. reddy - i restated that only 3 unrelated adults are allowed in the zoning district for his home. he stated that they were related, i told him that when speaking with the occupants that admitted that they were not related. he said they would need to get an apartment for the other. i reminded him that the building official for the city required that he be in compliance nlt monday. he requested 2 weeks to get apartments. i told him he would have to speak to the building official, that i could not grant him an extention. i gave him the office phone number. 1/8/07 spoke to mr. reddy and notified him that the city building offical, in an effort to work with him, extended the deadline to bring the property into compliance to midnight on 21 jan 07. mr. reddy stated that he has begun taking steps to correct the violations.
