Description: Sr44509 2/9/2016 11:29 amincident occured at park east apartments. heavy amounts of mold were found in air conditioning coils and air ducts when changing air filter. i called the 24-hour emergency maintenance team who addressed it the next morning by cleaning the air coils and determining via visual test that there was no mold. visitors' respiratory problems continued, however, so i hired a licensed mold assessment to inspect the unit on 1/28/16. the lab tests found heavy amounts of aspergillis/penicillium-like mold in the air conditioning unit and determined visually that there was evidence of water events that lead to mold growth and spores in the air ducts as well as the carpet and ceiling around the air conditioning unit. the official report of the contracted mold assessment serves as evidence of park east apartments' violation of article iv, section 8-114 under the hillsborough county - florida code of ordinances, part a. since becoming aware of the results found by the contracter, park east apartments provided a new air conditioning unit, however no remediation has been performed on the ducts, ceiling, or carpet. 160129l058 - s001.pdffirst name chrislast name --phone number --mobile number 4234327596email address [email protected]
