Description: Description of complaint: there were strong thunderstorms during the week leading up to june 24th. the storm water leaked in from the ceiling. the origination of the leak is unknown. on the evening of june 24th, the lake chase condo association was made aware of the water damage in our home. despite numerous follow up calls to the association there has been no attempts to repair or investigate the damage. pictures are available upon request. the property management company, home encounter was notified on june 25th. home encounter has sent someone to inspect the damage. however, my wife was told that the carpet, drywall and tile damage cannot be repaired until the association repairs the source of the leak. the water damage affected the ceiling, walls and light fixtures inside the home. the repairman that home encounter sent found mold underneath the flooring and stated that there is a strong possibility of mold in the walls and ceiling as a result of the water damage. on july 26th, home encounter removed a portion of the ceiling which was covered in recently grown mold spores. the lake chase condominium association was notified of the mold the following day. despite numerous calls to lake chase condominium association this week, the association manager, vernon june, has repeatedly attempted to delay or lie about the roof repair. nearest major intersection: linebaugh and: sheldon what road does the location run off?: montague rd name of subdivision / complex: lake chase complainant name: lake chase condominium association phone: 8139269944 email me a confirmation copy of this complaint: yes for an email copy of input, please enter email here: [email protected]
