Description: Description of complaint: at 9417 paradise dr. there is a huge pine tree that is over 30 feet tall. it is currently dead. you can kind of see it from the road but if you stand in front of the mobile home facing the front door right in the middle behind the mobile home is this huge pine tree. i've contacted the park management about the tree b/c i'm scared that it will fall on the mobile home. if it falls there are currently 2 mobile homes that it will hit and possibly do severe damage to. one mobile home has and elderly lady living there and the one the pine tree is directly behind which is more likely to hit is a family with 2 small children. the management at the park keeps saying that they will have someone come out to look at it and if it is dead it will be removed. i asked when they said they can't tell me just that it will be some time in the next month or so but it has been a year and still nothing has been done. we have had some storms come through and high 4 ft long and 2 feet in diameter branches fall on this mobile home. currently the park is having trees cut down and branches trimmed on empty lots to have mobile homes moved in. why can't they have this tree cut down when it clearly is a safety hazard? i think it's because they feel that if the tree falls then it will be the mobile home owner's home insurance that pays for it and not out of the parks pocket. which is crazy...what happens if one the people get hurt...home insurance can't take the place of someone's life. submitter's contact preference: i wish to remain anonymous.
