Description: Roof has been and, upon every rain, leaks. mold is growing on the wet ceiling and wet carpet. water comes in under the front door. furniture has been destroyed by the rainwater dripping in the apartment unit. eight year old is asthmatic and could experience severe discomfort from the mold, and girlfriend is 6 months pregnant. air conditioning does not cool the upstairs portion of the townhouse apartment. refrigerator freezer does not freeze water to make ice and does not keep ice cream or frozen foods frozen. management has been notified of situation, but not in writing, and, therefore, nothing has been done other than them sending maintenance to survey the situation. maintenance said they couldn't handle it, so management said they will begin repairs last week....no repairs have been initiated and situation is deteriorating rapidly. a totally unhealthy environment, especially for an asthmatic child and a pregnant woman. we're off work this week....please respond.
