Description: I live at island walk apartments on hillsborough ave and longboat blvd in tampa. the community has moved the trash dumpsters from the front of the property to the rear of the property, in the front they were constantly overflowing and garbage was being left on the ground, on numerous occasions i have seen rodents and cockroaches, opossums, stray cats and dogs rummaging through trash bags. it was not a very good selling/renting feature for the management to have this problem. every day maintenance was cleaning up this mess after it sitting out all night long. i have called the offices and reported this violation on numerous occasions. now that they have moved the compactors to where i live they are continuously overflowing, trash is being left on the steps and ground around the dumpsters. i call the management and report this problem and they do nothing about it. again, rodents and all roaches as well as other vermin are being drawn to this area. this cannot be sanitary and beneficial to residents that live in this area. i would think this is a major violation and i would like to see something done about it.
