Description: Sup/landscaping/life of the project 11/20/13: application processed, information given to m. malcolm for inspection. sg 11/25/13 inspection sheet received. mm 12/03/13 inspection done. i do not feel comfortable signing off on the conditions of approval. the plans show that screening for the property should be bamboo but the property owner is using pallets as fencing in some areas. the gas line and electrical looks suspicious but applicant states that julian delreal signed off on it. no permits found for that. there are structures and storage containers that should have been removed per the plans but have not been. the applicant also has a large pile of dry bamboo on the ground at the back of the property. i emailed both heidi duron and julian regarding the issues with the case. heidi states she will call applicant and let him know why he's out of compliance. mm 12/10/13 called applicant to ask if he spoke to heidi. he said no. i told him what is wrong with the property and how some of the things on the plan show that they should have been removed. he started complaining that it makes no sense to remove those items because it helps with the screening. i told him he needed to have that approved by heidi. mm 01/28/14: mr. lynch called and stated all violations are taken care of, requests another inspection for approval of permit, 760-885-0244. sg 01/29/14 e-mailed heidi duron regarding ok to reinspect. i do not see that mr. lynch has gone to b&s to get permits so if another inspector goes to see him, that inspector will need to call mr. lynch to inquire what he did about the gas lines and electrical wiring. 01/29/14 mr. lynch called to inquire about inspection. i asked if he talked to heidi since november. he said sure. he has removed structures and burned the bamboo. he has taken care of the electrical issues but states that there isn't any gas line issues that he is aware of. he wants to know if i made a list of all of the things that he needed to correct. 02/20/14: applicant called and is requesting a sign off, spoke with m. malcolm and stated alot of work needed to be done, pictures in office links. referred applicant to keith bloomer via email. sg 02/20/14: called mr. lynch back and asked if planning instructed him to submit bond and he stated that heidi stated he did not need a bond since the landscaping has been in place for over 20 years. sg 02/20/14: confirmed with heidi, bond and landscape plan were waived, existing landscaping acepted by planning as meeting landscaping requirements. vegetative screening is required to be maintained. g.rice 02/26/14: no violations found at time of inspection. all electrical issues addressed, structures were removed, the piles of bamboo burned. kb 03/11/14: received permit file back from hesperia office. sg
