Description: Description of complaint: i reside at 863 timber pond drive, in a nice residential development with long-time home owners and few renters. the home at 867 timber pond drive is owned by bill hofrichter and wife debra. it has been rented to 4 males since september, 2012, although about 8-10 people live there. one of the renters owns a large truck, tag #592 twf, exp. 9/2013, chevy 2500, that has been disabled for over 30 days. it is hazardous to any of us who walk, run, bike, skate, or try to cross the street because of its huge size...it blocks the view. we've asked them to push the truck in the driveway for safety reasons,to no avail. it continues to be a hazard to all on this street, especially the neighbors across from them, as the truck blocks their driveway. they are concerned about retaliation and have relied on other neighbors to report violations. many of us have reported them to hcso for other violations, including blocking the fire hydrant, excessively loud music day and night, and pranks that included moving front porch furniture and yard decorations from home to home. hcso has been supportive, tickets have been issued, and they have spoken to several of the renters on various occasions. these renters have been a constant nuisance and now this huge disabled vehicle has created a safety hazard for our street. i understand this is a low priority given other code violations, but we have no other recourse to have this disabled vehicle removed. any assistance from code enforcement would be genuinely appreciated. hcso supposedly reported this about 2 weeks ago. we have also spoken with the owner, but he is not inclined to get involved. thanks for any help you can provide. complainant name: pat marsicano phone: 813.505.2763 email me a confirmation copy of this complaint: yes for an email copy of input, please enter email here: pat [email protected]
