Description: The following is the information a citizen submitted using the online form on the hillsborough county code enforcement complaint form. description of complaint = problem #1 roach infestation this apartment has an infestation of roaches. they were mainly in the kitchen, bathroom, and utility closet where the hot water heater and air conditioning units are located. and now these small roaches are on the lining of the refrigerator. they are crawling the walls and, of course, when the lights are off they infest and invade the kitchen. i have not gone to the grocery store because of this issue and with all of my non-perishable foods i have purchased storage containers so that these roaches will not contaminate it. on yesterday, august 18th the exterminator came in and sprayed and did a "clean out", stating that the situation will get worse as the roaches die out and this will take 14 days until september 1st, 2011. he also suggested that if i am still having a problem after the 14 days to contact the maintenance center to have the exterminator come out again to re-treat. problem #2 electrical outlets not working on yesterday, august 18th, i came to the leasing office with my mother and advised the leasing agent the of the roach problem and also mentioned that there was a problem with inoperable electrical outlets in the bedroom. of the 4 electrical outlets in the bedroom, three of them are not working . i now have an extension cord running from the bedroom to the bathroom so that i can have extra power in the bedroom. however, this situation is only temporary because it is a serious safety issue and a possible fire hazard. problem #3 possible mold in the bathroom/leak above the bathtub it seems that there was a repair in the ceiling due to a leak from the apartment above me. the repair indicates that the ceiling in my apartment had water damage and it seems to still have an issue because the area is sunken and has some bubbling. the area also has black spots which lead me to believe that there may be mold growing under the "repair" and an ongoing water leak. pictured below is what i am seeing: street number = 2012 street name = fitness club way apt./lot number = 101 zip code = 33612 nearest major intersection = 22nd and flecher what road does the location run off of? = 22nd ave name of subdivision, apartment complex, or mobile home park = university club apartments owner name (if known) = address (if known) = , apt. or lot number = complainant name = krystal ingram phone = 9546732535/81334 email me a confirmation copy of this complaint = yes submitter's email address = [email protected]
