Description: Description of complaint: after fighting with ryland homes about a mold issue in my bathroom i removed my shower pan to show a mold issue cause by an improperly installed cement board, however, during this process i also found a cut floor-joist and drywall behind the tile in my shower. this makes me fearful that my 3 other bathrooms may suffer from the same lack of attention to detail. after i then contacted them and fought for them to fix it, they never replaced the 2x4 that was causing the cement board to be pulled to the outside of the shower pan, they installed a rubber shower pan, and then punctured and tore the rubber shower pan during installation. i now am hiring a third party to come in and fix their incompetence and i feel this is ridiculous in a house that is only 3 years old. supporting file or photo: bathroom zip folder.zip submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. chad ries 419-271-1591 email address: chad.ries@gmail.com
