Description: Subject: code violations-run down homes message: i am a concerned citizen and neighbor who has built a home on brunswick lane. i have a problem with the homes/structures located at 9116 and 9118 brunswick. they have been abandoned for a very long time. they are great homes for vermit and stray cats, as well as for homeless trying to find shelter. these homes need to be condemned and removed from the properties. many of us have had to look at this for several years now. we have worked hard to build our waterfront homes, maintain them, and of course pay very high taxes similar to pristine, deed restricted gated communities. however, this is not the case. the county needs to put some pressure on these homeowners to remove these homes that are an eye sore and nusiance to the neighborhood, as well as potential site that invites crime and drug activity. your attention to this matter is much appreciated. i look forward to your response.
