Description: Sr37442 12/5/20151 2:15 pmin looking through the codes, the best sections i can find that my neighbor is violating are 6.06.03, paragraph a1, d2 and e1. i have attached pictures of the property for you to review, but i think if a code enforcement officer were to visit the neighborhood, the officer will see the untidy nature of their property. according to the code that i read, "the property owner shall be responsible for the maintenance of all landscaped areas which shall be maintained in good condition so as to present a healthy, neat and orderly appearance, free of refuse, debris and weeds." additionally, they store their garbage cans in front of their house, don't keep weeds cleared, and generally have an unsavory appearance of their front yard. when i moved into the neighborhood, these neighbors stored their trash cans on the side of their house, out of direct view, and took better care of the appearance of their property, but over the years have not maintained their property up to community standards. the owners are physically able to take care of the property, and i have tried to speak with the male property owner, but he is unwilling to improve the appearance of his property per my request. at one point, he installed unprotected rebar as a "prop" for the plants along our property boundary and orange and blue highway cones as a "border marker" between our property. i hired a survey company to mark my property boundary, and the neighbor removed the stake the survey company planted, which as i understand, is a violation of the law. i care about how our neighborhood looks, and in fact just joined our community group for this subdivision to try to improve the general appearance of our community. i've attached one photo, but have others if you are interested. please contact me if you have any questions, and please send an officer to inspect my neighbor's violations. thank you - mike gruendelcontactregarding contact michael gruendelfirst name michaellast name gruendelphone number 813 210 4711mobile number --email address [email protected]
