(see previously submitted map of existing tree over 6¿ diameter.) zoning and planning approval processing: the property is currently zoned s88 as a residential area in the santa fe valley specific plan. we are requesting that the property be rezoned to rs as required by the specific plan. section 8.2 of the specific plan (p. 8-5 and 8-6) requires that all residential properties with ¿the existing s88 zone must be reclassified¿ to rr, rs and rv use regulations. all of these residential use regulations allow religious assembly with a major use permit (¿mup¿). only special uses designated in the specific plan may retain the s88 zoning classification and those uses do not apply to this project. we request that this project be allowed to be processed concurrently as a rezone and major use permit. our zoning analysis has been handled by the late william schwartz and his work is now being carried forward by robin madaffer of the firm schwartz heidel sullivan, llp. she is available to further explain the applicant¿s request
