Description: Description of complaint: this home has had a dresser and other junk sitting in their yard near the curb for 3 weeks now. they know it isn't going to be picked up by trash collector. the 2nd and most important is the basketball goal they have in the street with 1/2 dozen to a dozen kids throwing trash on the ground and refusing to move when vehicles are driving down the road and they are right in the middle. they just stand there until the vehicle honks the horn and the slowly move out of the way.. this is a potential accident waiting to happen. if a car was driving down the road at night, it very well could hit this goal. they have at times moved it to the sidewalk; which is also a place it should not be. they need to move it in there driveway or in the yard away from the street. i now you can't do anything about the lack of parental guidance, but i do intend on contacting cps as there are never any adults present. not sure if this is code violation, but they have more than one family living in a single family home and it is section 8. i will also send a complaint to the housing department. i was told that when you have children of different gender and there are not enough rooms for them to sleep separately, it is against code. i would just like to see the furniture and goal moved as it makes the neighborhood look bad. it is bad enough we have lost so much with the economy, so i don't need anything more bringing the value of my home down. i appreciate anything you can do for me. t submitter's contact preference: i wish to remain anonymous.
