Description: Sr12913 6/20/2015 9:51 pm i wish to remain anonymous regarding this manner as my property is adjacent to the one i have identified and i have to live here. if i reveal my identity it will be if the hillsborough county code enforcement department refuses to address this matter and i must then litigate in civil court. about 25 years ago the property owner moved a mobile home directly next to the primary residence and subsequently added on multiple rooms and porches which made it a permanent fixture. all properties here are zoned for 1 residence and not commercial. at the time this structure was completed, a pit was dug behind it and a 50 - 60 gallon drum was placed in the ground to serve as a makeshift septic system for this second residence. in the intervening years, the owners have used this structure as a rental unit. i have lived here for over 30 years and at the time, this did not affect my quality of life so i did not file a complaint. in the recent 6 - 8 months, the entire property has become quite unsightly so i installed additional privacy fence so it was less visible to me. on june sixth, the current tenant of this second, unapproved, home vacated and asked if i could help move some large items. at that time, the tenant informed me that the reason they were moving was that the toilet no longer functioned correctly and that when the commode was flushed, raw sewage flowed directly onto the ground. i witnessed this myself. so i am filing this complaint in the hopes that an inspector will be sent out to investigate. i do not wish to become personally involved unless the county refuses to address this. it is now a health hazard due to the raw sewage flowing onto the ground less than 100 feet from my property line. it is of note, that approximately 6 years ago, they moved a 3rd mobile home onto the opposite side of the property and the homeowner on that side filed a complaint and the county made them remove it as they were running a thrift shop out of it. first name john last name doe phone number 813-555-1212 mobile number n/a
