Description: Max occupancy 9 persons short term private home rental 12/18/2013 rcvd str app, scanned and emailed stephanie g. acc 01/22/14: processed application, project notices sent to surrounding property owners. sg 01/29/14: surrounding property owner called to inquire about project notice received. sg 02/13/2014: paperwork given to paul kleinsmith for inspection. drm str inspection: 02/15/2014 i conducted the str inspectionfrom the public right of way and on property with consent of tenants. tenant when asked if any hazards exist wihtin the residence, they wfa and wma informed no. i asked if all smoke and co2 sensor and fire extinguisher in palce, i was informed they are. property owner christopher toth contacted via phone, who also advised that the residence has three fire extinguishers with one on the deck, and smoke and c02 senors installed. only violation tenants and property owner were advised of was the location storage of the ash can on the wood combustible rear decking and requires relaocation. property owner was suggested to purchase a cement paver and place ash can on ground in front yard. address clearly posted and visible from the street. no tree limbs within ten feet of chimney opening and spark arrester present. no excessive yard debris or debris on roof of structure including pine needles. all waliking, stair, and decking in good maintenance, but could use new paint-weather protection in near future. trash receptacles with animal proof snap locking lids present. recommendation; approval / conditional property residence approx 960 sqf. / bedrrom count 1-2 / bed count x1 queen, x2 double, x1 twin. occupancy max nine (9) r-3 standards / occupancy not to exceed raised beds or occupancy permitted limitations. vehicle parking three (3) dirt surface in front of cabin - no street parking permitted with str use. owner to relocate ash can to a nono combustible surface. pk k0811 02/28/2014: permit approved per inunez. drm 03/11/2014: permit, approval letter, and coa sent to applicant. drm
