Description: Description of complaint: a neighbor uses his mother's garage (this adjoins our back yard) as an auto shop. he has worked as late as midnight. monday, 12/2, i called the sheriff's office at 11:00 p.m. a tow truck driver left his engine running for 15 plus minutes while they conversed loudly over the noise. the shop closed at 11:15 p.m. on occasion, he works on a dragster (extremely loud) with a large trailer that transports it. i have seen as many as 12 vehicles there at one time. this neighbor lives in the kings area also but chooses to work from his mother's home and not his own garage. during the day, he works for brighthouse so his auto shop is open evenings and weekends depending on how much business he has. this has been going on for several years. is this legal? submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. kay eichholz 813-655-8164 email address: [email protected]
