Description: I was advised i would need a permit to build a shed, so why is there no permit displayed at the house down the street where the owner is building a garage? also, i was told we had to build behind the front of the residence, theirs is in a side yard - in front of the house. i do not understand how this is allowed when i went through proper channels and would need to apply for permits and could not build on my property where i wanted. i would appreciate it if someone would look into this matter. thank you.

Description: Thank you for looking into the complaint about this location building a garage and not having a permit. they still do not have a permit per your web site so how is it that they can continue to work on this buiilding? they finished the roof and have done other work. it doesn't seem right that they still have no permit (approved but not paid for) yet can use the garage to park a vehicle in. maybe i have misunderstood information i have received in the past but we were advised that we could not start a building much less build the building and use it before we had the permit displayed on the location and the permit paid in full. maybe this warrants a follow up visit to the location. on another note, there is no cindy simpkins at that residence as it indicates on the website for the permit. it has been many years since she has resided there.
