I made the mistake of using this contractor to put a sealant on my driveway based on a recommendation from a Ryan Homes Project manager. In the summer of 2016 he came and put down the sealant. By the spring of 2017 I noticed that the sealant was coming up in large patches throughout the driveway. In Fall of 2017 I finally located his card and made contact with Mr. Blumberg. He agreed to come by and take a look at his work. When he arrived, he explained that he had no reason for the condition of the driveway and since it had been less than 1 year since the job, he would come by and redo. He said that he wanted to stand by his work. I was pleasantly pleased by this response.
He told me that since it was so late in the season that I was to contact him in the spring of 2018. In April, I contacted Mr. Blumberg. He said that he remembered me and the conversation we had about the driveway but unfortunately he would now have to charge me to redo the work. He said that he would be out in 2 weeks to speak with me about the work. It is not June 2018 and I have not heard from him again. He is obviously not a man of his word and does not stand by his work. Please be very careful in contracting with this individual.
