Purchased home under construction (not listed for sale yet) on June 2, 2018. Realty company pitched BMT Construction as best in the area, high integrity, and attention to detail. Wrong on all counts. Breached contract, failed to disclose known adverse situation at property affecting use and value, and less than cooperative with making any changes. We provided $15,000 deposit when signing purchase and sale agreement. When we finally received plans and specifications there were issues. We questioned and either got no response or confirmed in writing his intent to do something other than in the plans and specification. During meeting on June 29, 2018, we mutually agreed to part ways, terminating P&S and he’d return 100% of our deposit. Mr. Cotnoir stated we’d have our deposit back in full on July 2, 2018. It’s July 31 and yet to return however his RE Agent did state they would keep the deposit until another buyer provided $15,000 deposit. This was unilateral change we didn’t and don’t agree to.

Filed BBB complaint on July 31, 2018 and preparing to pursue all other avenues to get out deposit back.
