Where do I begin!!!! He was referred to me by my sister and of course I wanted to support small businesses - he gave us a quote in March after a storm took out a tree that took out our fence. Took him forever to take the tree so I should have known right there - he is a 1 man show that hires people he meets at bars. We had a few strangers here who knew nothing about putting up a fence - after months of giving him deadlines that he promised he would meet - and never showed up - in August we finally told him our neighbors nephew was going to put up the fence after the neighbor was sick of looking at our back yard - THEN he shows up and bosses this guy around and wants to charge us for it!!!! We gave him $3,000 up front to “buy the fence”. We never got the fence. He put the posts in and they are ALL different heights - some above and some below the fence. And not spaced properly so the new guy we had do the fence had to make adjustments. We tell him not to come back and just please do the right thing and give us money back minus what he paid for the posts - he decides to give us $500 of the $3000 back! And even getting that $500 back took 3 to 4 weeks. We are in the process of taking him to court. Do yourself a favor and hire a good name and pay the extra!
