This company does faulty work. After 6 months my concrete driveway started to crack. I called the owner Adam schroyer he told me he would come take a look at it as soon as he could. After multiple phone calls and months later my driveway cracked even more. A year and a half went by and my kids couldn’t even skate board on the driveway. Adam schroyer never lives up to his word about the quality of work his company does. I finally had to bit the bullet and hire a new contractor to tear out the old driveway and pour a new one. The new contractor informed me Adam never packed the ground underneath the concrete he also pour less than 2” of concrete when is should have been no less than 4”. He also never put steel reinforcement in. Stay away from j a schroyer unless you like paying twice for one job.



My wife and I hired this JA Schroyer construction to build a 400’ wall around our new house. To start off the job was supposed to be no more than 4 weeks long. That didn’t happen. They would show up for a day maybe 6 hours the be missing for a week. To overall job took 6 months to complete. When JA schroyer con was done everything looked great until are first heavy rain. The wall started to sag in places around the yard. I called Adam schroyer he informed me that that is normal and the entire wall will settle into place. After less than 6 months later sections of the wall started to lean in toward our yard. Multiple phone calls to Adam schroyer and John schroyer where made. I was able to get ahold of Adam 3 times. Ever time he promised me he would come take a look at it. Not once did he. After the next 6 months and a lot of calls I never got a call back. At that time we couldn’t even let our kids play in the yard in fear it would fall. Finally we had to call another contractor out to see if it was repairable. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The contractor told us there wasn’t a footing pour underneath the block wall. He also told us there was no vertical reinforcement in the wall itself witch is rebar and concrete pour down in between the blocks. This was very dangerous especially for our kids that play in the yard everyday. We had to hire the new contractor to tear the wall down and build it back up. Fortunately he was able to reuse the blocks because they where practically just set one on top the other. Now my wife and I have to hire an attorney to try to get our money back. My advice to anyone stay away from J A Schroyer construction
