General contractor Francisco Rodriguez (CGC 1512403) completed a project at my home a couple weeks ago (tile removal, replacement of load bearing walls, installation of insulation, drywall installation/plastering, concrete fill for parts of foundation that were damaged). Overall, I had a difficult time working with this person. He rarely visited the job site and would not regularly review the work being performed by his low quality sub-contracted employees. Also, he does not respond well to criticism or feedback and would get defensive when I brought errors/mistakes to his attention. Additionally, he is very expensive, which does not make sense given the average/below average performance. Avoid this general contractor. Always make sure to get references when choosing someone.
