I highly do not recommend even considering these people to do work for you. First of all this is my Uncle and when my house flooded due to a mechanical failure with my washing machine my Aunt said the Roger could help me. I requested a bid upfront and they questioned me how to do the bid. Should have been a red flag there. My Aunt told me that Roger would come out and look. Which he did and I requested a bid again. I was told don't worry about it we will take care of it and not charge you our typical rate. I had a bid from another contractor and I wanted to compare the prices. But every time I requested one they gave me the run around. And Roger kept assuring me that I would not be paying his full cost. Well after 3 1/2 days of work and $1100 in product bought I got an invoice for $3700. I was honestly in shock. The invoice was $1400 more than what the other contractor bid me. And to top it off they did not finish the job. I had multiple areas where trim was completed, the second coat of paint wasn't done, the toe kick was done improperly, and they didn't finish texturing my ceiling. And as far as how well the work that they did do was done. Lets just say I have multiple areas where the ceiling and wall don't meet up and I have gaps. There is hole in corners and the trim was cut in some areas an "1 to short. When I tried to deduct from $3700 for the work that wasn't completed, they became extremely greedy, and unethical. After doing more research I have found that he does not have a license on DOPL. And that he ripped of my other Aunt, and a cousin of mine. So I will warn you that if they are willing to so easily rip family off, just think of what they will do to you. Just stay away from them. Far far away!
