Ronald Berry of Phoenix Construction is most deceitful contractor I have ever dealt with!
I had the financial misfortune of purchasing a new construction house built by Phoenix Construction. He uses unlicensed, uninsured laborers to build his homes. He himself does not carry workers comp insurance on his employees thus making the home owener to be liable for medical costs.
My house has dozens of code violations and building defects running in the many thousands of dollars. Berry either refuses to repair these issues or he sends unskilled laborers to fix them making the problem much worse than before. Several of my issues are serious health & safety violations. He also doesn't get permits from the city to do much of the building!
He had already had his license taken away by the CSLB but then just started a new company under a new name.
