Description: Any and all code violations in basement - 1st floor - and second floor; all work orders and electrical code violations listed from the city of madison building inspections from previous inspections. any new additional code violations not noted or listed from city of madison building inspection. not limited to the following code violations already listed:the electrical code violations observed in and around the basement are as follows:nec 220 load calculations.because of the added electrical panels located in basement in addition to the two that were installed for the building electrical service, it is impossible to determine what is the electrical load for the building at this point. therefore, in order to be in compliance an electrical load calculation needs to be done on the house.nec 110.3(b) and sps 316.110 listed and labeled.all electrical material, and or fixtures installed in the house need to be listed and labeled, by a state of wisconsin recognized agency. such as, ul.nec 334 non-metallic sheathed cable.334.80 the non-metallic sheathed cable,(romex), that is installed in and around the basement must meet the current 2011 nec as far as ampacity rating.334.15 (a) nm cable is to closely follow the building structure. the nm cable(s) installed in and around the basement do not.334.15(b) nm cable is to be protected from physical damage. the nm cable(s) installed in and around the basement are not protected from physical damage.334.30 securing and supporting nm cable is to be secured within 12 of an approved box connector or within 8 of a non-metallic box. nm cable shall be supported every 4.5 on the horizontal. the nm cables installed in and around the basement are not.nec 410 luminaires (fixtures)410.6 all luminaires shall be listed and labeled for their application. the fixtures are fixtures that because of the installation it is not possible to verify this.410.44 all luminaires shall be grounded per article 250 of the nec. they are not.410.64 luminaires when used as a raceway shall be listed as such. the fluorescent fixtures installed end to end between the floor joists in the basement are used as raceways between the fixtures.nec 408 panelboards110.26(a) working clearances . working clearance in front of the basement panelboards shall be maintained at a depth of 36 in front and a width of 30 in front.408.38 all panels located in the basement shall have dead fronts (covers) that are part of the listed panelboard installed.300.4 all feeders to the panelboards in the basement shall be protected from physical damage408.40 all panelboards in the basement shall be properly grounded per article 250.120408.41 all panelboards in the basement shall have the grounded equipment conductor terminated properly per article 250.120nec 314 boxes.314.4 all junction boxes in the basement shall be properly grounded and bonded in accordance with parts i,iv,v,vi,vii, and x of article 250 as applicable.314.16 all junctionboxes in the basement shall not have more conductors installed in the box than allowed.314.21, 314.28 (c) all junction boxes in the basement shall covers installed.complete the minor wiring repairs as described in city of madison electrical permit bldele201311868. obtain all necessary inspections and the required approval from the assigned inspector to successfully close the outstanding permit.complete the electrical alteration from two meter/two panel service to a one meter one 200 amp panel service as described in city of madison electrical permit. obtain all necessary inspections and the required approval.
