Right now,if I could leave ZERO stars, i would.

I cannot stress strongly enough NOT to use this "company" (for lack of better words since it's just him,by himself. He contracts out help once in a while,but the only real employee is Mike) for anything! You will regret it. I'll say it again. You will REGRET it!

He comes off as a very nice person,making loads of great claims and promises - NoT a one of them does he keep. To attempt to keep your business when he has failed you,he makes even more offers and even has the balls to try to work himself into doing MORE jobs for you! (Because,you know..you aren't unhappy enough with his lack of work done already). He starts off offering a partial refund (which he doesn't have to give you..he can't afford it) the quickly changes it to, "or better yet, I could do more joba for you,at a discounted rate".

Its been a full year now since we hired Mike Sever to build us a garage. This should have taken 5 days,tops! We gave him until Mid November, 2017. At that time,he had only done the floor.

Its now Sept 2nd, 2018 and we only have bare sides and a skelton roof.

WARNING #1 !!! Mike continually asks for EARLY DRAWS of the scheduled funds, claiming to need the money for the supplies to continue working on it.

The cost was 25k. Half to get started,then scheduled payments. Mike now has all of the 25k and then some! Its still barely started a year later and he had No money to buy the rest of the supplies! We wanted it done, so we bought all of the remaining materials needed in the first week of July 2018. As of Sept 2,2018..those materials remain out in the elements UNTOUCHED. We have now paid OVER the 25k price and still no garage! He used our 25k to pay for his divorce lawyer instead of buying our materials!This brings me to...

WARNING # 2 !!! MIKE SEVER HAS BEEN TAKEN TO COURT FOR NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH TO OTHER CUSTOMERS BEFORE!!! ..and it won't be the last time he's being taken to court either.

Mke Sever should not still have his builders license.
WARNING # 3!!! Mike Sever is also a foreman for some other local company in the area,so if you're calling other contractors, be sure to inqure who the foreman is before hiring them.

I feel lousy having to leave such a poor review,but we've given Mike Sever ample time and ample chances to make good. He did not. Even after promising us that now that we bought all the materials itd be done by the following weekend, he still couldn't manage to get more than scaffolding put up ,but no real progress on the garages actual construction and almost never answers our calls or texts.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. If after reading all of this you still hire this person, you will get what you deserve for being dumb enough to use him anyway.
