Hiring Craig Meadows to restore our home after a flood was a huge mistake. It resulted in our taking our complaints to the Department of Professional Occupational Regulation in Richmond. They ended up finding them guilty of 6 violations including no contract, no building permit, and using unlicensed workers. They were fined and their license pulled until they paid (10 months later). Then we sued them for a bill filled with discrepancies and ended up settling out of court. It certainly would have been much wiser had we chosen another contractor.
