Homeowners beware of Andrew Scerbo and Landscape & Home Solutions. They are bottom of the barrel in terms of Rockland County contracting. It's one thing to not know how to do a job but it's absolutely deplorable to enjoy insulting people's intelligence by making toddler level excuses for it. He is completely irresponsible, disrespectful, manipulative, untrustworthy and does not deserve any decent customer's business. For starters, he broke a sewer pipe in my yard and refuses to fix it, leaving sewer drainage filtering into the new fire pit patio area that was built incorrectly and still not completed for over 6 months. The septic tank cover is now also broken due to his machines, so an 'open toilet' is now stinking up the entire property. Of course, it's not his responsibility as he claims. He undermined a stone wall that collapsed and refuses to fix... built a set of stairs that looks like a child did it... tore up my walkway, flooded my basement more than once... parks machines on my yard, and left my home looking like a construction zone full of equipment, piled up materials, and garbage. He refuses to even clean up after himself. Nothing but a path of destruction he leaves behind him and still nothing has been corrected with obviously no intention to ever correct. I spend my hard-earned money to live a decent life with my family but now I'm forced to live in complete frustration and embarrassment for way too long. In fact, he freely took new business while continuously pushing my project to the side as if I am worthless and unimportant. Every excuse is sillier than the next and he truly believes he is getting-over. Despite multiple warnings from people familiar with his ways, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt as a professional and as a man of his word. What a mistake that was. This is a serious warning to anyone that is thinking about using his services. Please do not subject your life to an unnecessary waste of time. He is not worth it. Your hard-earned money deserves to go to someone that cares about your home, does not purposefully cut corners, treats you with dignity and respect, and knows what they are doing. Please do not endure what I did as your inner peace should be important to you. The list goes on-and-on of mistakes, damages, arguments and outright lies from Andrew Scerbo. Avoid him at all costs and urgently seek legal counsel if you are currently using Landscape & Home Solutions. Speak up and act against these types of contractors so they are reminded of the concept of consequence, otherwise they will continue to take your money, disappear, and drag you down.

Horrible contractor. We started my project Aug 2019 and it is still not completed. Excuse after excuse. It is now June 2020 and not even half of the job is complete. He abandoned job with 80% paid and nothing was finished. Andrew Scerbo is by far the worse contractor I have ever hired. If you want to be lied to and ripped off, he’s your man.
