I purchased a new home from palm harbor to be placed on my land that I already owned. I knew I would need a septic dug, a well drilled and power connected to the house from an existing pole. Right off the bat the communication skills from within the company was horrid. I had to reach out to them for all updates. Everything was done from a construction to mortgage loan so everything went from plam harbor to tabb . I requested from the start to have 24 hour notice of all persons entering my property. Took about 3 sub contractors not giving me notice for them to get on it. They had a well digger from 2 hours away that charges way to much for what was done and they claimed it was the only local one . There are 2 local drilling companies in the tiny town I have land at. The house sat on the property for 2 and a half months before any real work started. When it did get moving I had to constantly ask for updates. 4 months later we will be getting the keys but they have had 2 contractors come out for some finishing work and have yet to be informed. I have cameras everywhere on the land to verify who and what is out there. I have since sent 2 emails to the Tabb and have yet to hear anything back. This is a horrible company to deal with. Communication with in and keeping clients informed is horrible. I plan on asking for a break down of all work done . Let's see how long this takes. Remimber you have a choice on who or what you use for contract work no matter the means of funding. I would not recommend this company for anything.

I was pointed to Mike by my mobile home company for my foundation, water/septic/electrical connections, skirting, decking and fencing to finish out my home. The foundation was done right, and the contract was sent before services were rendered. I was honestly excited because I thought I was able to rely on someone to help me finish a really big project. After the foundation was complete, I had informed Mike I needed a bid for the electric/water/septic hook ups and he told me $2150. I asked numerous times for a contract, nothing. He sent people out and rendered services to get the electric online, still no contract. I informed him I needed the people to come do the water/septic connections, and he told me he would get the bid. Which naturally brought forth confusion because I was under the understanding that the $2150 was to connect everything. The contract I received 8 days after services were rendered only stated it was for turning on the electrical and in bold letters stated no other connections were part of the bid. I asked Mike for a complete breakdown to further understand how he got to $2150 for 3 hours of work. He told me he would just do what he had to (which was vague and I'm guessing pursuing some sort of small claim suit in court), despite me trying to understand. I told him I was trying to get bids from other electricians but without specifics of what I was being charged for, I could not properly compare the different bids to see if he grossly inflated the amount or if it actually was spot on. Mike's response to my requests for a breakdown of services rendered was, "I'm sorry you don't understand the cost associated with this work." Someone who is being legit in their work would be willing to provide a breakdown of cost to show where and how the total amount of $2150, for 3 hours of electrical work where the subpannel was already installed, came from. Claiming someone's lack of understanding while they are trying to understand is something someone does who is trying to hide or mislead all the while Mike has thus far refused to produce a breakdown of expenses for the electrical connection. Mike said he could do the septic for us. I repeatedly asked Mike for the septic bid which he had told me would take 2 days. No response. I text a few different times about this over the course of a week, no response. In one text I talked about both the septic and getting him the remaining payment for the foundation. He only responded about the payment with a later excuse of "I thought I sent it," regarding the septic. He consistently told me would get me the bids and contracts, but hadn't done so. He told me he would get the bids for the skirting, decking and fencing done 2 weeks ago. I still haven't received anything. His customer service and communication is horrible. His contracts are vague and he hasn't been upfront about where the charges for services are coming from. Mike also brought forth a random expense that not he, nor the delivery company, ever spoke to me about, which was trimming a few trees that needed to be trimmed for the delivery of my home. He brought it up only when I requested a breakdown of services earlier today. The home was delivered 3 weeks ago. He never submitted a bid, never submitted a contract, never said a word about expecting payment that the delivery company delegated the work to him. Dealing with Mike has been extremely frustrating to say the least. Being ghosted when he said he would get me the information for many days in a row. Even simply saying, "Hey I was unable to finish the bid, but I'm working on it," is better than zero response for many days after you said the bid would be in. I would look elsewhere.
