Description: Install new 1" water meter per std 863. install new 1" backflow per std 875. existing dual water meter will have to be reconfigured to accept the new 1" meter manifold. the manifold must be constructed in a u - branch configuration with threaded brass fittings. only one compression fitting will be allowed where the manifold attaches to the service. the width of the manifold will be dectated by the separation between the meter boxes (3" - 6"). property side rear meter fitting shall be removed and replaced with a no-lead brass ball valve. back flow prevention device shall be tested by a certified back flow tester, refer to attached list, prior to activation. please refer to the attached water service installation guidelines when installing and requesting water service and meters. connect to existing sewer lateral per std 513. install residential driveway approach per std 250b. remove and replace sidewalk per city standards 235 and 237. pedestrians shall be safely escorted through the workzone or diverted around the workzone in accordance with mutcd ta-28. notify all residents within clearview circle of the work to be done and address any concerns that may be brought up. contact inspector 48 hours prior to start of work.
