Donald Joel Mackling

Donald Mackling is someone you don't really want to use if you want job done correctly and don't want to spend money twice. In July 2020 Mackling came out to install garbage disposal for $150 and by January 2023 it was leaking where it was attached wrong to sink as bolts and nuts were going down vs up to attach it properly to sink, which must be done otherwise it will eventually leak. Called Mackling and he said oh it probably wiggled itself lose as it's just screwed onto bottom of sink and using garbage disposal will do that. Mackling told me he would come back out for another $150 to fix leak if I sent him my information via text (which I did) but he not once called, texted, or attempted to return to fix what he messed up on first visit. Had a professional plumber come out and he confirmed reason it was leaking was as stated above, Mackling didn't install it correctly where it attaches to sink. Have proof it was done incorrectly. NOTE: In my home for 11 years before my disposal stopped working and mine never leaked before and if Mackling had done the job correctly first time it wouldn't have leaked at all causing me to spend another $247 to have install done correctly and properly.
