Description: Manufactured home. frame one story house on crawl space. 196sqft deck. no garage. parcel is for single family residential use only. no other use is allowed pursuant to the structure shall comply with the krc 2007 and iecc 2009 codes. no commercial use allowed. the structure shall not go over any easements or required yards. it is the owner?s responsibility to abide by all subdivision rules in the completion of this project. note: carbon monoxide alarms, sec r325 shall be required for new construction. an approved carbon monoxide alarms shall be installed outside of each sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of all bedrooms in dwelling with which fuel-fired appliances are installed and in dwelling units that have attached garages. decks shall comply with 2007 krc. the ends of all lag screws thru a combined ledger board and band board, shall be visible to the field inspector. deck includes minimum 2? x 8? pressure treated ledger board or other approved engineered materials, all ledger flashing, and staggered lag screw/bolt patterns. if the hole is drilled through the masonry and the bolt is merely passing through the masonry and is in fact secured to the band board of the house, and connecting the ledger to the band board (or other structure within the house) and is not actually fastened to the masonry, but merely passing through without adding any vertical or lateral load, then no engineer is required. in this scenario there is no reason to remove the brick but the integrity of the brick veneer must be maintained. if the bolt is not merely passing through the masonry, but in fact depends upon the masonry for vertical or lateral support, then an engineer is required to document that the masonry can handle the added vertical or lateral load wood/plastic composite deck boards shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. janicemjohnston
