Easy Glide Home Improvements

I hired Easy Glide Home Improvement to Remodel my Bathroom in May 2016. I was having water leak from the Bathroom through to my first floor and I wanted to completely fix the problem and add some value to the house while I was at it.

Naomi London lead the project and was good to work with at the beginning. She was the best price and was friendly so I went with her. Well when you pay peanuts you get monkeys. Her crew was clearly a thrown together group idiots. The work was being done on my rental property. The tenants reported to me the workers flirting with them, going through their stuff, and trashed the carpet. The tenants ended up missing some things which were either stolen or thrown away.

When there were problems with the work Naomi took a long time to respond if she responded at all. She would constantly say she would let me know when she could come out and then not respond. I would have to email, text, and call to get a response.

The work was very poorly done. Tiles where put in the wrong direction, the grout was not cleaned up, and concrete from under the tile floor in the shower shower keep coming up threw the floor. I had to have them come out to fix things when they where finished about 6 times. They finished up around Aug 2017.

Well, not even 10 months later and water is leaking through the ceiling again from the same bathroom. The grout was really done poorly and was cracking all over. In addition under the shower must have been done poorly for it to leak all the way through again.

I had her come back out and I asked her crew to actually fix the issue she was hired for. It was already a different crew. Her crew just caulked over the grout and it looked terrible. Well then I called her again to come out and please fix it properly. In typical fashion she said she would call me with a time that worked. Well I got feed up with her lack of responses and really crappy work. Her crew was just fixing crappy work with more crappy work. For a temp solution I put silicone spray over the cracks until I get get a real professional out to fix the problem.

The leak continued to come through the ceiling as recently as this week, Jan 2018, which inspired me to write this review. Beware of poor workmanship and an unprofessional crew.

Update: I had another contractor come and look at the work and it was worse than imagined. His quote, "It wasn't like they did one thing wrong...it was like they did everything wrong". I have added more photo's. Major mistakes made that actually have caused more damage than I originally had. Mold was growing under the tile.
