STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!
We hired this company to do work on my pool, we signed a contract for agreed upon services and an amount. We paid an agreed upon deposit of $800 to start the work. When they came to do the work, they immediately started to tell me why they couldn't do the work , that it was my fault and the owner was yelling at my disabled wife that he couldn't do the work. The asked me to let some additional water out of the pool which I did. Finally after many attempts to have them come back, they picked a time to come to my house, but said they wouldn't do the work until they got paid the balance due in advance. Mind you, I had already given these folks $800 with nothing to show for my outlay. When he said he needed to be paid in cash, I told him to leave my home because I had read reviews that this was this company's way of operating and that in the opinion of other customers, The Pool Guy was an absolute scammer. I decided that I would cut my losses at $800 and that I wasn't going to proceed with someone who yells at disabled customers, is rude and is not trustworthy. I then looked up on the Pa State Contractors Website to find out that this company's contractors license had expired more then three years ago. DO NOT LET YOURSELF GET RIPPED OFF LIKE WE DID.
