Ace Deck Mate T/A Thomas Colabella

Save yourself the headache and do not hire these amateurs! I hired Thomas Colabella and his team to hang drapes and valences for three windows, which they informed me they have experience in doing. They quoted a price, which I agreed to. When they showed up they asked basic questions which makes it obvious they had little experience in hanging draperies. Based on lack of experience they spent a lot of time and still did not complete the job.
They informed me they needed to come back another day to complete the work - which included mounting the brackets for the valances, securing the cods and also changing the brackets for one of the window since the projection of the brackets were too short. We agreed for them to come back when the new brackets arrive, which I called to confirm after I placed the order.
I later found out that they damaged one of the walls installing the brackets and the curtains were hanging lopsided (one side was about four inches off the floor while the other was two inches more than the floor length). Further the projections for the double rods were not properly installed for any of the windows (as they used one screw per bracket) making it impossible to draw the curtains.
A week later when I followed up to confirm the appointment and for them to fix the wall, which he agreed to do, Tom informed me that they are too busy to commit to time to come back. He refused to return to finish the job (which is fine with me), however, I asked him to come back to fix the huge indentation he made to my walls and he still refused. I will be following up with the NJ business bureau.
This company lacks ethics, they charged me for purchasing screws but then they accidentally left the receipt behind and I noticed they ordered other things including chocolate bars. Granted the price of the chocolate bar and the other items wrongly charged to me were not expensive, the basis is that they are not honest and cannot be trusted.
